Lip Blush - Top Up
Service Description
Consultation & Flexibility This appointment begins with a full consultation to assess how your lip blush has healed since your initial treatment. We’ll review the colour retention, shape, and overall finish, and confirm whether a top-up is needed. Everyone’s skin holds pigment differently, so a second session is completely normal and often essential to perfect the result. What’s Included This is your top-up session, usually booked around 6 weeks after your first appointment. It allows us to refine and enhance the pigment, correct any uneven healing, and adjust the colour if needed. This appointment helps lock in your final result and extend the longevity of your lip blush. How It Works Using the same digital machine and technique as your first session, pigment is re-applied into any areas where it has faded or healed unevenly. The goal is not to redo the whole lip, but to build and perfect what was already achieved, creating a soft, even flush of colour that blends naturally with your skin tone. Colour Matching We’ll refer back to your original pigment mix and adjust if needed based on how your lips have healed. If you’d like to slightly warm up or cool down the tone, this can usually be done during your top-up to fine-tune your final result. Does It Hurt? Most clients find the top-up more comfortable than the first session. Numbing cream is applied before and during treatment to keep you comfortable, and the sensation is usually described as a mild buzzing or scratching. Downtime & Healing After the top-up, lips may appear brighter and slightly swollen for 24–48 hours. Some flaking is normal, and the colour will soften as it heals. Final results will settle over the next few weeks, with a more even tone and polished finish. Results & Longevity Top-ups are a standard part of the lip blush process. Once healed, your result should appear more consistent and long-lasting. Most clients enjoy their finished lip blush for around a year, with optional annual maintenance to keep the colour fresh. Got Questions? If you’re unsure whether it’s the right time to top up or how your lips are healing, feel free to message us, we’re happy to take a look and advise.
