Lip Filler Dissolve - Second Session
Only book if instructed by a member of our team
Service Description
Important Notice – Please Read Before Booking Due to new legislation effective from June 2025, all clients must attend a face-to-face consultation with our nurse prescriber before receiving any filler dissolving treatments. This is a legal requirement and still applies even if you’ve already had your first dissolving session. If you haven’t yet attended a ‘Filler Dissolve Consultation’, please make sure to book this first. It’s a 10-minute appointment to confirm medical suitability and issue your prescription. This consultation is for medical clearance only, not cosmetic discussion. Once prescribed, you’ll then be able to book your treatment. Consultation & Flexibility This session includes a review of your first dissolve and how much filler remains. If any concerns have changed since your last visit, we’ll reassess before continuing. If you choose not to go ahead, your deposit is refundable. What’s Included This treatment is for clients who required a staged approach due to heavy filler build-up. We’ll use hyaluronidase to further dissolve remaining product, helping clear migration or overfilled areas more completely. How It Works The enzyme hyaluronidase breaks down hyaluronic acid filler in the body. The second session targets areas where filler was too dense or stubborn to fully break down in one appointment. It begins working immediately and continues for 24–48 hours. Products Used We use prescription-only hyaluronidase, safely administered by a qualified medical professional. A patch test is required unless recently completed. Does It Hurt? A numbing agent is used to keep you comfortable. You may feel some pressure or sting during injection, but the procedure is quick and manageable. Downtime & Healing Swelling, redness or tenderness is normal and typically settles within 1–2 days. You may also notice further changes in volume as more filler breaks down. Results & Refill Timing We recommend waiting at least two weeks after your final dissolving session before any refill to ensure the lips are fully settled and free of inflammation. This gives the best base for a clean, natural-looking result. Sessions & Suitability This treatment is for returning clients who required a second dissolve due to extensive filler build-up, migration or long-standing product. We’ll support you throughout the full reset process.
