Lip Filler Dissolving

Book your ‘Filler Dissolve Consultation’ FIRST as it’s required before treatment.

Service Description

Important Notice – Please Read Before Booking Due to new legislation effective from June 2025, all clients must attend a face-to-face consultation with our nurse prescriber before receiving any filler dissolving treatments. This applies even if you’ve had treatment with us before. To avoid being turned away on the day, please make sure you book a ‘Filler Dissolve Consultation’ first. This is a quick 10-minute appointment to assess your medical suitability and issue your prescription. This consultation is to assess from a medical standpoint only, not cosmetic. Once prescribed, you’ll then be able to book your treatment. Consultation & Flexibility Your appointment begins with a cosmetic consultation to assess your lips and past filler. If you decide not to go ahead, your deposit is refundable. Treatments can also be adjusted on the day. What’s Included This treatment involves injecting hyaluronidase to dissolve previous filler. It’s ideal for clients with migrated, lumpy or outdated filler, or those who want to reset before starting fresh. How It Works Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid-based filler. It starts working immediately, with full results developing within 24–48 hours as the body clears the product. Products Used We use prescription-only hyaluronidase, administered by qualified professionals. A patch test is performed before treatment to ensure safety. Does It Hurt? We apply a numbing cream to reduce discomfort. You may feel a short sting or mild pressure during injection, but the procedure is quick and tolerable. Downtime & Healing Mild swelling, tenderness or redness is common for 24–48 hours. Bruising may occur. You’ll receive full aftercare advice following your appointment. Results & Refill Timing Dissolving is complete within 1–2 days. If you plan to refill the lips, we recommend waiting at least two weeks to allow inflammation to settle and ensure a smooth, fresh base. Sessions & Suitability This treatment is suitable for anyone looking to remove unwanted or migrated filler. It’s also the first step for clients wanting to redesign their lips from a clean canvas.
