We’ll explain how the Russian technique works and decide if 1ml is the right amount to achieve the look you want. If you change your mind after the consultation, your deposit is fully refundable. Treatments can always be swapped or adjusted on the day. How It Works The Russian technique focuses on vertical height and central projection. Filler is placed using a series of micro-injections from the base of the lip upwards, creating a heart-shaped lift and reducing the appearance of the philtrum. This technique enhances definition, symmetry and overall lip height, with a soft but structured finish that never looks puffy or overfilled. Products Used We use CE-marked, hyaluronic acid fillers from brands like Revolax and Nexfill, specifically chosen for their smooth texture and ability to hold structure. The right product is selected on the day based on your anatomy and desired outcome. Does It Hurt? We apply a strong numbing cream before treatment. You may feel light pinching or pressure, especially around the Cupid’s bow, but most clients find it very tolerable. The treatment is quick, precise, and carefully delivered. Downtime & Healing Due to the precision of this technique, swelling is normal for the first 1–3 days, particularly in the upper lip. Mild bruising or firmness can also occur but usually settles quickly. Final results are visible within 1–2 weeks as the filler integrates into the tissue. Results & Longevity Results are immediately visible and continue to refine as swelling settles. Expect sharper definition, vertical lift, and a flatter side profile. Most clients find 1ml lasts around 6–9 months, depending on lifestyle and metabolism. Ministry of Faces – Booking Terms & Conditions By booking, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to the following. These policies are enforced to protect client safety, fairness, and clinic time. Medical Eligibility We cannot treat clients who: • Have had/will have a COVID-19 vaccine within 2 weeks before or 3 weeks after treatment. • Have an active cold sore/oral herpes on the day. • Have taken antibiotics in the last 2 weeks for a facial/oral infection. • Are unwell (cold, flu, virus, infection) or immunocompromised. • Have had facial surgery within 12 months. • Have had chemotherapy or autoimmune medication within 6 months (unless stopped with doctor’s note). • Are deemed unsuitable at our discretion. Failure to disclose relevant conditions may result in cancellation and loss of booking fee. Treatment Expectations Results vary individually and cannot be guaranteed. Dermal fillers are temporary and usually require maintenance every 6–12 months. Some treatments need multiple sessions. Booking & Cancellation • A non-refundable booking fee secures your appointment and is deducted from treatment. • 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule/cancel. One reschedule only; further changes require a new booking and fee. • Less than 72 hours’ notice, lateness (over 5 minutes) or no-shows will forfeit your fee and may incur full treatment cost. • If we don’t receive any notice, the full treatment fee will still apply. • Clients must be 18+ with valid photo ID. Without ID, treatment is cancelled and fee lost. • No children or under-18s are permitted. Arriving with a child cancels the appointment with fee lost. • Bookings are non-transferable and must be in your own name. Payments • Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. Payments are processed via PayPal/Stripe and cannot be reversed. Chargeback attempts will be challenged legally. • ClearPay can be used in-clinic to pay balances; a 6% fee applies. Clients must review ClearPay’s terms before use. Media Consent Photos/videos may be taken for training or marketing. Consent will be requested before posting identifiable images. Once published, content cannot be withdrawn and no claims can be made. By booking, you confirm acceptance of these terms. Failure to comply may result in cancellation and loss of booking fee.
